Since I first started using the internet as a teaching platform, its success has been overwhelming! Skype lessons were working so great in my private studio I proposed to Olympic College that we implement private Skype music lessons as an addition to the other “mobile learning” courses. I had supporting documentation from Berkeley, Julliard and other conservatories showing how very effective this relatively new teaching tool can be! Although my idea was met with hesitation by the “powers that be”… thanks to Mike Stoican and Rick White, all private OC music instructors now can offer Skype lessons as a scheduling option.
