Hi-Rez STUDIO
My recording studio is my personal office and workspace where I do most all my recording and teach my private lessons, including Skype and Zoom. It’s a very clean, comfortable environment with high-end multimedia music programs used for both recording and teaching. Sometimes I work on my own recordings and I often record for outside clients. This could mean audio-post work for videos or other artist’s demos or CD projects, either as engineer or session player.
As a composer, Roger has written and recorded for numerous nationally televised programs, documentaries and television series, many of which have won Emmy or International Telly awards for their musical scores. His instrumental contributions can be heard on many P.B.S. productions – most notably; “Over America”, “Great Ranches of the West” (w/Michael Martin Murphy) “Who Cares For the Children” (w/Rhea Perlman) “Nuclear Legacy”, “Over Washington”, and America’s Historic Trails (w/ Tom Bodett). Audio-post clients include PBS, Boeing, Wilcox Farms, Suquamish Tribe, Washington Thoroughbred Association, and BBC.
BACKGROUND
Roger has taught the audio recording technique classes at Olympic College in Bremerton and operated his own studio since 1999. He has also contributed to many CD projects over the years, recording and producing many projects in various studios including:

PROJECTS
Projects of all kinds are considered. You may want me to play one cut or ten cuts, on your CD – one instrument or two etc. Or I can play “engineer” if you need an affordable low-key studio to record your CD. Whatever the situation I am set up for small, intimate groups. Though Hi-Rez is a small project studio, it’s a tuned room and can accommodate mixing drums and bass. RECORDING ON YOUR CD
You may want some strings on your new mix – I’ve supplied countless artists with supporting tracks over the years. I can either help in the process from the beginning or I can get involved later to “sweeten” some tracks. In this case I will have you send me a recording of your song and as I play along with the recording , I simultaneously record my part on a separate track …then send my recorded track to you to be mixed in with your song.
